Bluesquare is a technology company in Global health.
The purpose of our data systems and tools is to get resources where they matter most.
Our technologies are in use in more than 30 countries and support +60 different clients, including the World Bank, WHO and Global Fund to Fight HIV, TB and Malaria.
We are looking for a team member to support our administrative and financial team. Your tasks include amongst others.
1) Administrative tasks
- Daily office management
- Expense management
- Payment of suppliers and freelancers
- Travel logistics including visa requests, per diem payments, travel insurance
2) Financial tasks
- Assistance in the preparation of quarterly and annual accounts, VAT declarations, annual audits and internal financial reports
- Preparation, sending and following up on invoices
- Assistance in payables and receivables analyses
- Searching, implementing and integrating new online tools for financial reporting
Skills and competencies
- Qualification: bank apprenticeship or similar vocational training; or relevant practical experience.
Skills:
- A good sense of priorities and ability to plan your work, efficient, attention to detail, well organized
- Proactive, willing to learn and take initiatives
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
- Microsoft MS proficiency, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of JIRA and other online tools is a plus
