The European Social Insurance Platform (ESIP) aisblwhich represents over 50 national statutory social insurance organisations in 17 EU Member States, the UK and Switzerland, dedicated to shaping the future of social security in Europe, is looking for an experienced, highly motivated and results-driven secretary to support our international office in Brussels.   •  Secretary – 20 hours / week
  • Available as soon as possible
  • Closing date: 15 October 2020

The position

The position requires a dynamic, communicative & autonomous individual to work in a small multilingual team and be responsible for:

  • Managing central correspondence/emails, answering the telephone, and receiving visitors
  • Managing office supplies and dealing with service contractors
  • Issuing and paying invoices, book-keeping; liaising with external accountancy office
  • Filing and archiving
  • Managing and updating contact/mailing lists
  • Organising internal and external meetings; preparing meeting documents
  • Supporting other office staff in their duties
  • Other tasks as required

Requirements

  • Bilingual or native level written and spoken English; good/excellent spoken and written French; knowledge of other languages is considered an asset
  • Degree / diploma in secretarial studies, accountancy, or business administration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Motivated, autonomous, organised and willing to learn
  • High level of computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365; experience with database management tools, a plus
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar administrative role
